UNISON serves its members in many ways, but being able to contact the correct person is essential for members to access this support. Most workplace issued begin with talking to your department's UNISON steward. Not each workplace is represented however so if this is the case with your workplace the steward of a neighbouring department would be happy to help you. Instead you can directly contact your Local Convenor who can point you in the right direction.

The Northumberland UNISON branch is split into 3 geographical regions, with a Local Convenor covering each region. The South-East Convenor covers workplaces of Blyth, Ashington, Cramlington, etc, whereas the Northern Convenor covers workplaces north of Morpeth, such as Alnwick, Berwick, etc. The West Convenor therefore covers County Hall, Morpeth and workplaces to the west of here. The West Convenor is currently supported in her role by the joint Branch Secretaries.
